Shutter windows are everywhere in Curaçao, and the gaps around the louvers are exactly where mosquitoes come in at dusk. A fixed insect screen closes that opening without blocking the breeze.

Spectra Solutions measures the window and builds the screen to it. The screen can sit between the frame or on the frame, depending on how the shutter and the existing window open. Frames in plastic, wood, aluminum, and steel are all workable. The profile is aluminum, in RAL colors, so it can sit quietly next to a white or anthracite window.

Fixed screens are the usual choice for a shutter that stays in place. If the window itself needs to swing open past the screen, a hinged window screen is the other option. For a window you want clear most of the day, look at a roll-up window screen.

The mesh on the quote form is black. Height for a fixed window screen runs from 20 to 220 cm, width from 20 to 200 cm. Larger patio openings are a different product. Price includes installation, and the team can measure on site in Willemstad and across the island.
